Smoking/Vaping
The Show is a smoke-free event. Removal from the showgrounds will occur for non-compliance.
ATM & Cash Out
There are two ATM locations inside the Gawler
showgrounds.
1. Towards the end of the front facade of the Sports and Community Centre
2. In front of the Gawler Show Office Building.
Dogs And Animals
Dogs are not permitted at the Gawler Show except for Service and Guide Dogs, or Animals approved for medical purposes (certificate/identification of approval will need to be shown to gate staff/security).
Train
The train stops at the Gawler Oval station with just a 100m walk to the Gawler Show entry gates.
Drop And Go
There is a Drop and Go area directly outside the main gates! (Between gates 4 & 7)
Parking
There is all day parking available at three different local sites including;
Lawrence Ave ($10),
Goose Island ($5) (end of Eighth St) and
Henry Chenoweth Reserve ($10) (Fourteenth St – directly behind Gawler Community House).
These sites are operated by community groups
and volunteers.
Disabled Parking
Disabled parking is available on Nixon Terrace outside the Main Gates. (Between gates 1 & 4)
Accessible Toilets
There are three accessible toilets available – within the Sports and Community Centre, outside the public toilets next to the Show Office, and next to the hire toilets at the ALC end of the Village Green.
Lost Children/Items
Lost/found children and/or items can be reported to the Gawler Show Information Booth.
Complimentary safety wristbands are available for children from the Beyond Bank stand.
Parent's Room Facilities
The Parent’s Room is in Meeting Room 3 of the Sports and Community Centre.
(Closes 8pm Saturday)
There is a microwave, kettle, changing table and couch available.
Changing tables are also located in the toilet block adjacent to the show office.
First Aid
This will be located near Gate 7. In an emergency please approach any person in a Hi-Vis vest and radio to call through to the command centre.
Emergency Services On Site
SAPOL, SES, CFS and SECURITY will all be on site.
