A wonderful evening celebrating all the wonderful leaders within our community, knowing these people are our future is very humbling. Congratulations Ethan, we were proud to be by your side last night. This is the 4th year we have celebrated this award with one of our nominees. Gawler was well represented last night - must be something in the water! Off the Couch with EthanImage attachmentImage attachment

Congratulations Ethan White, we were proud to be by your side last night. This is the 4th year we have celebrated this award with one of our nominees. Gawler was well represented last night - must be something in the water! Off the Couch with EthanI was honoured to attend the Seven News Young Achiever Awards SA last night and receive my nomination certificate for The Rowdy Group Creative Achievement Award. Was a fantastic night with so many amazing young people celebrating their phenomenal achievements! A huge thank you to the Gawler Show Society staff who nominated me. ☺️

This is so disappointing to read. Brand South Australia has always been a great advocate for this state, their logo is synonymous with trusted South Australian brands WORLDWIDE. I am angry, frustrated and lost for words. Kate

This is so disappointing to read. Brand South Australia has always been a great advocate for this state, their logo is synonymous with trusted South Australian brands WORLDWIDE. I am angry, frustrated and lost for words. KateDear valued members & supporters,

Brand South Australia can confirm that we have today received correspondence from the Premier of his decision to cut the annual funding provided to our organisation.

As a result of this decision, Brand South Australia will cease operations as at 30 June 2019.

As you know, we are an independent, not-for-profit organisation that promotes economic growth and pride in our state. We manage the State Brand and run a range of programs – including the incredibly successful I Choose SA program – which deliver millions of dollars of value to South Australia every year.

We are now working through the impact of the Government’s decision on these programs. We will be in touch with those who may be directly impacted by this decision in the coming weeks.

We are incredibly proud of everything we have delivered and want to thank you for all of your support over the years.

Thanks,
The team at Brand South Australia

So wrong, really makes our state stand out with so many local companies.

Another short sighted decision by the Marshall government. If they were truely interested in job creation, etc, they would, fund organisations like this, not destroy them.

We should be cutting the funding to S. Marshall ' State bugger uppers ' instead.

yes agree very disappointing

This week is #MuseumWeek, so we'll be sharing some awesome historical facts from our very own Show Archives!
Robyn Muster (1955-2014) was the first female councillor of the RA&HS, dedicating her time to promote the South Australian Grain and Fodder industry.
Here she is with her father Colin Lienert in 1999.
