Disabled Access

The Gawler Show Society is continually improving access to the show grounds for all members of the family.

Over recent years the focus has been on the provision of more disabled access areas and an increase in joint use facilities wherever we can.

• Disabled parking is adjacent Gate 4 along Nixon Terrace
• Drop-and-Go Temporary Loading area for disabled or elderly is opposite Gate 7 & 4 adjacent to Gawler Primary School
• Two disabled only toilet facilities are located on the grounds
• Ramps & kerbing that are wheelchair friendly around the grounds to access the Village Green, trade areas and all other buildings
• Attention to as many ground surfaces as possible to encourage mobility to areas of the Show grounds in “dry” weather
• Companion Cards are accepted.
• Gawler Oval Train Station is less than 100 metres from Gate 7 for those arriving by public transport.
