There is plenty of entertainment for the whole family at the Gawler Show, from the Agricultural Learning Centre to fantastic Local Music Acts and the wonderful Side Show Alley, its safe to say there will be fun for all.
If you want to shop and eat, then there is a variety of food trucks (including dietary needs such as gluten free, vegetarian or vegan), market stalls and over 3,000 exhibits on display across the grounds.
This is all capped off with a full night of family entertainment on our Village Green finishing with an impressive fireworks display on Saturday Night.
If a Sunday is more for you there’s still plenty to see and do with the Grand Parade displaying some of the best that the show has to offer. In one fantastic lap of the Main Arena you’ll see Utes, Tractors, Cattle, Dance Groups and much more.
Recap Of 2023
The Gawler Show had another busy weekend with an amazing entertainment program on the main stage featuring some local artists, dancing groups, bands, and children’s entertainment.
The Village Green also hosted woodchopping, sheep shearing & working dog demonstrations, Medieval battles, Silent Disco, and aerial and silks performers.
We also saw The Agricultural Learning Centre continue to grow this year with the inclusion of a Dairy Display (milking demonstrations) as well as the well loved animal nursery and guest speakers.
Nixon
Our mascot Nixon can always be seen wondering around the crowds, giving out high fives, watching the pony rides, having a look at the livestock, checking out the Ute Muster and the Tractors and Steam Engines, and was witnessed watching the all-time crowd favourite – the FIREWORKS – graciously sponsored by Taylor and Forgie!!
We pride ourselves on providing a family friendly Show with change rooms and quiet area for feeding with many FREE activities for little ones.
