Volunteering

The Gawler Show cannot run successfully without our amazing team of volunteers.

If you are interested in becoming involved with our volunteer team, please complete the online form.

Some of the ways you can volunteer your time include:

Grand lottery sales – shopping centres
Fundraising and special events
General office duties
Setting up pre-Show
Clean up post-Show
Bump-in and bump-out over show weekend
Setting up exhibit rooms
Car park attendants
Maintenance and repairs – Show ground infrastructure
Competition Conveners and Stewards

All applicants will be evaluated against show requirements and will be contacted regarding their application as quickly as it can be assessed.

Undertake reasonable care of my own safety and that of others at work;

Use personal protective equipment in accordance with the established safe work practices of the Gawler Show;

Ensure that I am not, by the consumption of alcohol or drugs in such a state as to endanger myself to others;

Raise any matter, which gives cause for concern with a General Management Committee Member or Convener of your section

Notify any hazard and report any injury to myself or to others as soon as practicable, to the Convener of your section or a General Management Committee member
