The Gawler Show is a smoke-free and vape-free event. Removal from the showgrounds will occur for non-compliance.
Alcohol, glass, weapons, fireworks, drones and illegal substances are not permitted.

Tickets & Entry
Where can I purchase tickets?
Tickets can be purchased online prior to the Show or at the gates during the event.
Is re-entry allowed?
Yes, re-entry is permitted. Please ensure you follow the re-entry process at the gates.
Do children need a ticket?
Yes, entry requirements vary by age. Please refer to ticketing information for details.
Are Companion Cards accepted?
Yes, Companion Cards are accepted.

The Gawler Show is a smoke-free and vape-free event. Removal from the showgrounds will occur for non-compliance.
Are there any prohibited items?
Alcohol, glass, weapons, fireworks, drones and illegal substances are not permitted.
Transport & Parking
Is there parking available?
All-day parking is available at the following locations:
• Lawrence Ave – $10
• Goose Island (end of Eighth St) – $5
• Henry Chenoweth Reserve (Fourteenth St, behind Gawler Community House) – $10
These sites are operated by community groups and volunteers.
Is disabled parking available?
Yes, disabled parking is available on Nixon Terrace outside the Main Gates (between Gates 1 & 4).
Is there a Drop and Go zone?
Yes, a Drop and Go area is located directly outside the main gates on Nixon Terrace (between Gates 4 & 7).
Can I travel to the Show by train?
Yes, the train stops at Gawler Oval Station, which is approximately a 100-metre walk to the Show entry gates.
Facilities & Services
Are ATMs available at the Show?
Yes, there are two ATMs located inside the showgrounds:
• Near the front façade of the Sports and Community Centre
• Beside the Show Office
Are EFTPOS facilities available?
Most vendors accept EFTPOS; however, some stalls may be cash only.
Where can I find accessible toilets?
Accessible toilets are located:
• Inside the Sports and Community Centre
• Outside the public toilets near the Show Office
• Near the hired toilets at the ALC end of the Village Green
Is there a Parent’s Room available?
Yes, the Parent’s Room is located in Meeting Room 3 of the Sports and Community Centre.
Facilities include a microwave, kettle, changing table and couch.
(Closes at 8.00pm on Saturday.)
Additional changing tables are located in the toilet block adjacent to the Show Office.
Children & Families
What happens if my child gets lost?
Lost or found children and items should be reported to the Gawler Show Information Booth.
Are safety wristbands available for children?
Yes, complimentary child safety wristbands are available from the Information Booth.
Animals
Can I bring my dog or other animals?
Dogs are not permitted, except for Service and Guide Dogs or approved medical support animals. Certification or identification must be shown to gate staff or security.
Entertainment & Activities
Where can I find the entertainment schedule?
The full entertainment program will be available on the website and at the Information Booth during the Show.
Are there free activities available?
Yes, many displays, demonstrations and activities are included in your entry ticket. Some rides and attractions may incur an additional cost.
What time are the fireworks?
Fireworks are scheduled for Saturday evening (weather permitting).
Safety & First Aid
Is First Aid available on site?
Yes, First Aid is located near Gate 7. In an emergency, approach any person wearing a hi-vis vest who can radio the command centre.
Are emergency services on site?
Yes, SAPOL, SES, CFS and Security personnel will be present throughout the event.
