Accessibility

We want everyone to enjoy the Show — here’s the key info for accessible entry, parking, and getting around on the day.

Accessibility at the Show

We’re committed to making the Show welcoming and enjoyable for everyone. Below is a practical guide to help you plan your visit — including accessible parking, entry routes, facilities, and a few on-the-day tips.

If you have specific needs or questions, please contact us ahead of time and we’ll do our best to help.

Accessible parking & drop-off

  • Accessible parking: Available along Nixon Terrace and Paterson Terrace near Gates 1–4 (where available).
  • Follow signage and marshals: On-the-day directions may change for safety and traffic flow.
  • Drop-off: If you’re being dropped off, aim for the closest signed set-down area and allow a little extra time during peak arrivals.

Tip: If you’re arriving during the busiest times, consider arriving a little earlier for the smoothest experience.

Quick tip
If you have a mobility aid, pram, or wheelchair, allow extra time from parking to the gate — especially during peak arrivals.

Getting in and getting around

Accessible entry

  • Accessible entry routes: Follow the accessible signage to the closest gate access point.
  • Staff can help: If you need assistance on arrival, ask a marshal or gate staff member.

Paths & surfaces

  • The showgrounds include a mix of sealed paths and grass/dirt areas.
  • Some areas may be uneven depending on weather and foot traffic.

Quiet breaks

If you need a breather, we recommend planning a couple of quieter “reset” spots (for example: shaded areas, quieter edges of the grounds, or seated viewing areas).

Facilities

  • Accessible toilets: Available on-site (follow signage once inside).
  • Seating: Seating is available in various areas — bring a fold-out chair if that helps your comfort.
  • First Aid: First Aid is available on the day — check the program map or ask staff for directions.
  • Assistance animals: Assistance animals are welcome. Please keep them under control and follow staff directions around animal areas.

If you need a specific facility location before you arrive, please contact us and we’ll help you plan.
