Tip: Arrive early for the easiest parking, especially on peak show hours.

Courtesy when parking in the streets

Please park where safe to do so, that doesn’t block driveways or roads. Observe any parking signs as some Town of Gawler temporary restrictions will be in place over the weekend.

Temporary Carparking for the Show

These are our three main parking locations. Each is run by a community group and fees may change year-to-year.

Goose Island

End of Eighth Street

Price: $5 per car, per day

Walk: 15 minutes to Gate 4 (Main Gate)

Parridla Taikondi Park

Located on Lawrence Ave

Price: $10 per car, per day

Walk: 5 minutes to Gate 10 (Back Gate)

Operated by: Rotary Club of Gawler Light

Henry Chenoweth Park

Fourteenth Street (next to Gawler Community House)

Price: $10 per car, per day

Walk: 10 minutes to Gate 4 (Main Gate)

Accessible Parking is located in front of the Show from Gate 1 to Gate 4 along Nixon Terrace and Paterson Terrace.

Please check signage carefully

There are parking controls around the showgrounds, including temporary restrictions during the event. Please check for temporary parking restriction signs and do not park across (or in) driveways.

Is there a Drop and Go zone?

Yes, a Drop and Go area is located directly outside the main gates on Nixon Terrace (between Gates 4 & 7).

Can I travel to the Show by train?

Yes, the train stops at Gawler Oval Station, which is approximately a 100-metre walk to the Show entry gates.
